Types of Bar Service

Basic Bar Service – Six (6) Hour Open Bar only $8.95 per person

This type of bar service includes five (5) call liquors: Whiskey, Vodka, Rum, Gin, Peach Schnapps. Light & regular Draft Beer is also provided and our services include Liquor Liability coverage.  

Mixes are also included and they are: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Vernors, Tonic Water, Soda Water.  Juices are also provided and are: Orange Juice, Tomato Juice, Cranberry Juice. Condiments: Lemons, Limes, Cherries & Olives.

For Weddings the Head table is also furnished with complimentary champagne for a toast.

Paper Products cups (9oz & 12oz), shot cups, stirrers, cocktail napkins
(glassware upgrade available with full china upgrade).

Uniformed Bar Tenders: Bartenders are provided and take care of all set up and clean up. All drinks made to order by the glass not punch bowls!

Additional cost will be charged by the 1/2 hour if you request the bar to stay open longer.  this additional cost is due at the time of service and cost would be 50 cents per person per half hour.

Non Alcoholic Bar is $5.00 per person.

Bottle Bar – This type of bar allows your guests to select what they would like from the selections made prior by the host. Bottle bar set up includes mixes, ice, cups, stirrers, cocktail napkins, condiments and bartenders. The host will be charged full price if only ¼ bottle is used. Note: A $3.00 per person surcharge is also applied to the confirmed head count in addition to your actual bottle usage charge.

Cash Bar – This type of bar is where guests purchase their beverages individually. Cash Bar includes ice, cups, stirrers, cocktail napkins and bartenders. Pop is a $1.75 a glass and a draft beer is $2.00 a glass. Bottle beer or glass of wine is $2.75, a pitcher of pop is $5.00 and a pitcher of beer is $6.50, mixed drinks range from $2.75 for house liquor and wine coolers, $3.75 for call liquors, $4.75 for premium liquors and $5.50 for blended drinks.

Note: A service charge of the greater of $250.00 or $2.50/head is charged for all cash bar events.

OUR BAR PERSONNEL ARE PROHIBITED FROM SERVING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO ANY GUEST UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE.

MICHIGAN LIQUOR LAW:

The liquor laws of Michigan prohibit alcohol from being taken onto premises that have a liquor license. Therefore all alcoholic beverages consumed at The Golden Glow Ballroom must be purchased through our bar facilities. Also included in the law is that all alcoholic beverages served by a licensee must be consumed on its premises.
